"You just can't meditate when you think of me," Xue Yang claimed boldly, now that he'd reached Song Lan. And then he - perhaps childishly more than savagely - pounced him, to literally try and climb his back, so he'd be able to ride piggyback. It wasn't a vicious attack, by any means, Xue Yang's laughter also amused rather than malicious.
Didn't mean that he wasn't holding on as tightly as he could.
If he knew it were meant to be harmful, his reaction would be vastly different. As it is...Song Lan spins to catch his lover and...well. Aims to toss him into the pond. Or at least pretends to try, and there's almost a smirk on his lips to answer that laughter.
Being clung to used to bother him, still does with most people. But not two specific people, one of whom is this gremlin of a man.
"You are rather loud, even without an actual call."
With his legs wrapped around Song Lan's waist and his arms around his neck, it'd not have been easy to toss him anywhere, Xue Yang made sure of that. He buried his face against Song Lan's shoulder, then idly realised that this could be interpreted as a sweet gesture, so he ended up biting down on his collarbone and then sucking on some skin there, wanting to leave a mark. Less sweet and more possessive, that seemed more like it.
He hisses at the bite, despite the sucking sending a shudder through him - he likes these possessive bites, not that he'll ever say as much. He doesn't need to though, does he? Xue Yang knows. Song Lan doesn't let it go unanswered though, throwing himself back to lay over the smaller man as he works on untangling those clinging arms.
"This isn't being good," he remarks. "I should just drop you in the pond," after freeing himself from this barnacle, of course. "Definitely not carry you home." Empty threats, mostly, but where's the fun in just giving in?
"Do it, then," Xue Yang seemed open enough to the idea, if said openness was communicated by his hands first gathering the fabric of Song Lan's shirt between his fingers to lift it up enough for him to then move said eager hands against his bare skin, under his shirt, up to his chest and shoulders. "Get rid of me, why don't you?"
And yes, he was definitely trying to just get that shirt off of him.
He can't help arching up into those hands as they slip under his shirt, but already moves to squirm free of his shirt if that ends up with dislodging his gremlin enough to drop him into the cool water. And if it doesn't free him enough, maybe it's enough to turn him around to better face Xue Yang!
And even pin him to the ground under him. "You always come back," which he doesn't discourage, even when maybe he should.
Purely on face value, Song Lan was stronger than him. Xue Yang just never played fairly and had a lot of tricks up his sleeves. But right now he had to make a decision and he didn't much fancy being wet, so he more or less allowed himself to be pinned instead. Didn't keep him from still pulling at the shirt, smiling triumphantly when he did get it off the man. "Ah, you're worth looking at now."
And look he did, although he was more concerned with letting his hands roam over that bare torso. And, no, he had no scruples whatsoever about anyone else who might walk by.

Wait. No. You don't. I take it back.
You being naked, ah, so bothersome!

So bothersome.
This park is too big. :( See? I need carrying. Almost there.

If you're very good, I might carry you home later. As a reward.
no subject
But you always go to the same spot anyway.

When I'm waiting, rather than continuing on?
